Who is Myke Wilder?
A native Montrealer, Myke Wilder studied both hard and social science at Dawson College, and journalism and cinematography at Concordia University, before embarking on a first career in photography.
In 1985 he returned to school at McGill University to study public relations and corporate communications.
In 1986, Myke began his communications career with Télé-Direct Publications as corporate editor.
Two years later, he began his first freelance practice, building a client list that included the Canadian Council of Grocery Distributors, Cohen-Couture Communications, and Matthews List.
In 1989 The (Montreal) Gazette convinced him that he was needed full-time in a newly created Employee Communications department. Five years later, having met all the challenges placed before him, he left the newspaper and founded Wildercom. He has since devoted himself to building his business, and those of his clients
Until 2013, the Wildercom profile had essentially been divided in two, with half the work on the communications/PR side, and with SR&ED reporting on the other.
In 2014, a paradigm shift was made to the company as it is today. In private life, Myke has matched his longtime summer love of cycling with a passion for the winter sport of curling.
